BMW 3 Series Touring

The BMW 3 Series Touring is due to go on sale in the UK this September, priced from £29,380.
Based on the recently launched 3 Series saloon, the Touring shares that car’s front-end aesthetic but swaps the saloon profile for a gently sloped, stretched roofline with extended glazing.
BMW enthusiasts will be pleased to hear that the trademark ‘Hofmeister kink’ is present and correct, emphasising the car’s rear-wheel-drive layout.
Initially there will be three engines to choose from, with more becoming available after the car’s market debut. The diesel line-up consists of a 2.0-litre 184bhp engine, badged 320d, and a 3.0-litre, straight-six with 258bhp, labelled 330d.
The sole petrol option at launch will be the 328i. Utilising a 2.0-litre turbocharged unit, it develops 245bhp – more power than the larger (and thirstier) six-cylinder 325i and 330i models of the previous generation.
The reduction of engine sizes has had positive effects on fuel consumption and emissions. The petrol unit will manage a combined 41.5mpg and emit 159g/km of CO2, while the UK favourite 320d is particularly parsimonious, sipping fuel at a rate of 60.1mpg (61.4 with the optional automatic gearbox) and emitting 124g/km (122 with the auto).
Inside, the focus has been on practicality, with the boot now 35 litres bigger than the previous generation, at 495 litres. Fold the 40:20:40 split seats down and the load space increases to a cavernous 1,500 litres – the best in class.
Thought has been given to how the 3 Series Touring is to be used too. The boot comes with a myriad of nets and cubby holes, the front door bins have been re-designed to accept large drinks bottles, and the optional storage package includes a reversible boot floor, with a protective coating for carrying wet or dirty items.
The tail-gate is electrically operated as standard, and there’s also an optional Smart Opener, which opens the rear hatch with just a strategic waggle of the foot under the rear bumper.
The interior is unchanged from the saloon and the Touring will come in the same trim levels: ES, SE, Sport, Modern, Luxury and M Sport. Each give subtle alterations, both inside and out, with not just equipment, but design differences giving the car a vastly different feel.
Even entry level ES models are competitively specced, including 17-inch ally wheels, chrome tail-pipe trim, automatic boot opening, automatic air-con, BMW professional radio with 6.5-inch colour screen, keyless start, cruise control and a USB audio interface.
BMW’s Driver Performance Control module is also fitted as standard, allowing drivers to customise various attributes between a sport and comfort bias. It also includes an ECO PRO mode, which governs the on-board systems, as well as the throttle mapping, to give the best possible fuel consumption.
The 3 Series is considered to be among BMW’s most cherished models, so keeping up with the profile remains a vital responsibility. 2011 BMW X1

In BMW-speak, Sports Activity Vehicle or SAV, is the functional equivalent of crossover SUV. BMW's SAVs use car-type unibody structures, feature raised ride heights, and stay true to BMW's core value of excellent handling.  The first BMW SAV, the X5, was released as a 2000 model. The second, the X3, debuted as a 2004 model. Starting in early 2011, BMW will add a third SAV, the X1.
The 2011 BMW X1 will be positioned below the X3 in both size and price. With its smaller size, the X1 is sure to be more nimble than the other BMW SUVs. BMW says the X1 will come with high-precision power steering and high-performance brakes.
Like the X3, the X1 will offer seating for five, but it will be about 4.5 inches shorter on a wheelbase about 1.5 inches shorter. Cargo capacity will be 16.8 cubic feet with the 40/20/40 split rear seats up, and 47.3 cubic feet with the seats folded down.
Initially, the 2011 BMW X1 will be offered as one model called xDrive28i. BMW's xDrive intelligent all-wheel-drive system will be standard. The lone engine will be a 3.0-liter inline-6 making 258 horsepower at 6600 rpm and 228 pound-feet of torque at 2600 rpm. BMW says 0 to 60 will arrive in 6.8 seconds. To improve fuel economy, the X1 will feature Brake Energy Regeneration, Auto Start-Stop, and a gearshift point indicator.
Equipment and features are sketchy at this time, but the X1 will come standard with such safety features as six airbags, tire-pressure monitor, traction control, electronic stability control and adaptive brake lights. The X1 has achieved the highest rating of five stars in the Euro NCAP crash test, which bodes well for its IIHS and NHTSA crash scores on this side of the pond.
Optional equipment will consist of a Panorama glass roof, Xenon headlights, Adaptive Headlights with a High-Beam Assistant, a USB interface, and Performance Control, which applies brakes on the inside wheels in corners to help rotate the vehicle and give it a sportier character.
It is unclear if BMW's iDrive control interface will be standard, but it will come with models equipped with the optional navigation system. Now easier to use in its fourth generation, iDrive provides a central interface for controlling the entertainment, navigation, communication and climate functions.
Look for the 2011 BMW X1 xDrive28i early in 2011. More engine options may follow, including a diesel, and BMW may make a rear-drive model available as well.

2012 BMW X3

The interior of the 2012 BMW X3 is welcoming, with tasteful surfaces and a tidy arrangement of components. Dark dashboard moldings contrast with lighter lower sections and carpet colors.  High-grade wood trim accents are used sparingly on the center console, door cappings and above the glovebox. The view out the windscreen is commanding. Big mirrors provide a good spread of rearward visibility to deal with the inevitable blind spots that occur in cars with vertical D-pillars. A fourth-generation iDrive Multimedia controller keeps control-button proliferation to a minimum, and the dashboard looks tidy and organized.
In a class that puts sporty performance before practicality, the 2012 BMW X3 offers good cargo and passenger space. With the second row in place, the X3 has 27.6 cubic feet of cargo space. With all seats folded, there is 56.6 cubic feet of space.
The BMW Mobile Office system can provide calendar updates while you’re on the road, making it easy to keep the entire family on schedule.
When it comes to BMW X3 Wood Grain it’s all about options. Choices. 2012 BMW 1-Series

2012 BMW 1-series. The baby Bimmer is destined to be replaced in 2013 with an evolution of the current model. We were surprised to see the 1 Series M introduced late in 2011 as a 2011 model, with no 2012 model to speak of. The incredibly spry 1 Series M with 335 bhp has come and gone too quickly. We're left with the last naturally aspirated 3.0-liter inline-6 in the 128i; the engine will be replaced by a new 2-liter turbo four in the next generation. Updated last year with an optional 7-speed dual-clutch DCT transmission and single-turbo 3-liter I-6 N55 engine, the top-of-the-line 135i is still plenty of fun on the back roads. The 1 remains available as a coupe or convertible with a power-retractable cloth top, and there is hope the next generation will bring a 5-door to the U.S.
Whether you plan to improve your vehicle's performance or simply want to add some flare to its style, we store a comprehensive collection of accessories and parts designed specifically for your vehicle. Whatever product you choose, you are guaranteed to get nothing but the premium quality, unrivaled performance, and unique style. Understanding that your vehicle deserves only the top accessories and parts, we carefully handpicked each single item. And be sure all of them are manufactured by the most reputable companies in the industry, so the quality is beyond any doubts.Including grilles, BMW floor mats, chrome trim, and more. If you still are not sure what product to choose, you are welcome to check 45 reviews with an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars, and define what accessory perfectly fits both your vehicle and your pocket.

BMW 4 Series Convertible

We'll admit, it feels like a typo whenever we write "4 Series," but if BMW is as insistent upon further breaking out its coupes and convertibles from its sedan ranges as we've been hearing, we'll just have to get used to it. The BMW 4 Series is expected to officially kick off when the two-door versions of the new 3 Series are launched, and our spies recently caught a prototype of the new droptop 4 testing in the rain.
There's still lots of cladding under all that swirly paper, but we expect the 4er Convertible's design to mimic that of the new 3 Series, complete with the more squared off headlamps that pinch in toward the dual-kidney BMW grille. Like the outgoing droptop, the 4 Series cabriolet will use a folding hardtop configuration, and engine choices will almost certainly be exactly the same as what's offered in the 3 Series sedan. (428i and 435i – weird.) An M version is also said to be in the cards.
Look for the 4 Series range to debut sometime in 2012.

2012 BMW Z4 sDrive28i

2012 BMW Z4 sDrive28i. Here is a little riddle! Rear-wheel drive, wind in the hair, aggressiveness, style, unique driving pleasure and 245PS?
Volkswagen Eos? No! Mazda MX-5 Miata? No, again! There is only one answer having all these qualities – 2012 BMW Z4 sDrive28i. Although the car is not an entirely new model, it received BMW’s brand new 2.0 liter twin-scroll turbocharged petrol engine with a nice power of 245PS (180 kW) and a train-pulling 350Nm (260 lb-ft) of torque. This new engine replaces the well-known 3.0 liter six-cylinder petrol in 25i and 30i.
2012 Z4 sDrive28i accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds and still returns a nice 41.5 mpg on combined cycle with emissions below 160 g/km. This is possible thanks to a number of modern technology – Double-VANOS variable camshaft timing and VALVETRONIC variable valve opening. The top speed of the roadster is 250 km/h (155 mph), doesn’t matter whether the roof is up or down.
The latest BMW’s roadster has a lot of advantages over the other rivals, but price will not be one of them. Stay tuned for more details and full pricing list of 2012 BMW Z4 sDrive28i.

BMW Headlights

BMW to offer laser headlights within next few years.
We've got good news for you if you've found your life suspiciously lacking in lasers. BMW plans to unveil new lighting technology within the next two to three years that uses highly focused beams of light to illuminate a dark road, according to Inside Line. The news comes courtesy of Hanafi Abdul, an optical systems designer for BMW, who said that a system using a photonic process to create white light is currently ready for production and awaiting the correct application.
A version of the technology has already bowed on the i8 Concept, thought Abdul said that the laser lighting system could arrive in dealerships before the production i8 heads to market in 2013.
The process uses Gallium Nitride to create blue light, which is then converted to white light with the help of a phosphor disc. So, why go laser? BMW claims that the system is 1,000 times brighter and 100 times smaller than traditional LED lighting while being twice as efficient. The system is said to have an average life span of around 10,000 hours.
BMW models are known for having it all: class, performance, comfort, and durability. Everyone knows that already. Sometimes, drivers want more. They want to ride with even more style.
